Adopt a Loaf
yo! i'm back for updates... haha! today was "adopt a loaf" outreach/saturation.. i thank God for this opportunity that i can contribute to the community... region A adopted the most loaves of bread... haha! thank God for this huge number but we're short of manpower.... everyone was so tired after distributing...
but thru this, although sort of expected, i saw many kinds of pple... some were really friendly and grateful for that loaf of bread... but some were so smug that they were not even a bit grateful to the loaf of bread that we gave..
hmmm... managed to invite some of the pple from the community and they seemed quite interested and one aunty even ask whether she could invite her daughter's frens along.. wah! so enthu wor.. it's really God at work...
we've got a few trays of bread left after combing 4 blocks by our group.. and the rest i'm not sure.. so pastor decided to give them away to passer-by.. and some were like "yao gui" come grabbing for bread and 2-3 at one go... in my opinion ar... those loaves of bread were wasted although they're given away... coz those pple most are not the ones that are truely the needy..
and one very wasted thing is the Christmas Eve service cards were not printed! and ALL the household have adults and we missed on that.... ahhhhh.....
anyhow, we went to catch a movie after that... The Warlords.. a not bad show but NC16.. haha! must noe how to appreciate den can watch... those cannot appreciate de will think it's not nice.. haha.. gtg liao... bye~~
